12V 40A 560W alternator conversion kit for Ural Dnepr M72 K750, replaces G424
The original Soviet G424 alternators with 150W and their 12V regulators repeatedly cause failures and charging problems. Both used and remanufactured versions are considered unreliable, overheat, or supply too little power for modern consumers.
With this conversion kit, you can easily switch to a powerful, modern alternator (identical in construction to Denso) with 12 volts, 40 amps (560 watts), and integrated voltage regulation.
The conversion is plug & play. No changes need to be made to the engine block.
The original alternator is removed, our new alternator with adapter is installed, and you're done.
The old charge controller is completely eliminated.
Advantages at a glance:
-
Completely replaces the old G424 alternator (150 W)
-
Reliable power supply with a full 560 watts
-
Integrated regulator, no external regulator required
-
Air-cooled and robust, suitable for continuous operation
-
Suitable for: Ural and Dnepr
-
Perfect solution for all conversions to 12 volts
-
Secure hold thanks to well-designed adapter set
-
No milling, drilling, or welding necessary
-
for M72 and K750 with 6V (G414), modifications to the engine housing are necessary!
-
Dimensions to engine block contact surface approx. 18 cm, total length approx. 22 cm
With this conversion, alternator problems are a thing of the past. A modern solution for classic motorcycles.
Note: Please note that this alternator can only be used in conjunction with a 12V electrical system. Ideal for conversions or as a replacement for a defective G424. The conversion kit is delivered assembled. The drive wheel/gear should be taken from the old alternator.
